The Essex County Schools of Technology work as a community to design and sustain a learning environment that promotes reflective inquiry, risk-taking, leadership, collaboration, evaluation, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Our guiding principle is that learning should be engaging, relevant, developmentally appropriate, rigorous, and prepare students for college and careers.
For this reason, our educational program offers a variety of courses to meet the needs and interests of all of our students, including Gifted and Talented, English Learners, and Special Education students. Through Career and Technical Education programs, advanced placement and dual credit course offerings, structured learning experiences, and extracurricular activities, our students receive a personalized educational experience that extends beyond the classroom walls to further their social, emotional, and academic growth.
