The World Language Department of the Essex County Vocational and Technical Schools will ensure that all students receive a 21st century language education. To this purpose, new language courses have been added to diversify the cultural spectrum of the Spanish language and meet the needs of new forms of global communication, ways of thinking, and tools for college and career readiness. Target language development will be facilitated through a blended learning approach that combines technology, authentic learning experiences, and interpersonal and academic language.
